Get ready to move! In Roda Movements’ Capoeira class, students ages 6–11 will learn the fundamentals of Capoeira, a dynamic Brazilian art form that blends martial arts, dance, music, acrobatics, and cultural traditions.
Through fun, age-appropriate games and activities, students will build coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, rhythm, and confidence while learning Capoeira movements, kicks, dodges, and sequences. They’ll also be introduced to the music and traditions that make Capoeira unique, including rhythm, call-and-response, and playing together in the roda (circle).
Whether your child is brand new to Capoeira or already loves to move, this class offers a fun and welcoming environment to learn new skills, get active, express themselves, and build confidence—all while experiencing a vibrant piece of Brazilian culture.
